Welcome

Welcome to AQMS

Innovative business solutions, from industry, for industry.

To help our customers meet EASA and UK airworthiness requirements in a way that was affordable and supported their business objectives we founded AQMS early in 2008.

Business Aviation companies told us that they needed help making sense of the regulations and there were not enough skilled and experienced staff to manage them.  They were concerned about the effect on their business of having to employ new people and they worried about what would happen if they did not comply with the new rules and the cost involved.

We believe our customers can confidently concentrate on their business confident in the knowledge, and with our support, their airworthiness, safety and quality management meet EASA regulations in a manner that works for them and is very cost effective.

Our  Directors are:

Dave Leach, I.Eng; AMRAeS, our Quality Director, is an EASA Part 66 B1 and C Licensed Engineer with over 30 years experience in the industry and is an ISBAO accredited auditor, and oversees the work of our technical staff.  Dave has provided quality management and airworthiness support to small and medium sized operators, maintenance organizations, training schools and manufacturing companies, from parachute clubs to national carriers and has sat on an EASA working group developing new regulations.  He is a ‘Form 4’ post holder for several of our customers and produces compliance manuals and procedures that recognize and respect a company’s capabilities and working practices.

Carole Leach MA is our Managing Director.  Carole works closely with a variety of organizations to develop and deliver competence and training requirements for Aviation.  She has worked with SEMTA and the CAA to deliver National Occupational Standards for Continuing Airworthiness and is Chair of the BBGA Training Working Group for Airworthiness, a Council Member of the BBGA and is Vice Chair of the panel currently developing Employer Led Apprenticeship Standards that will bring public funding into training in many aviation occupations for the first time.  Other members of this panel include  the  UK CAA, Virgin Atlantic, Marshalls ADG, Flybe, MOD, Airbus and BAe Systems as well as a number of business aviation companies such as Harrods Aviation and  Gama Aviation.
